This intimate cove, a mini-fjord-like fissure in the black basalt lava along the 804 Trail in Yachats, is a short walk from Wave Gallery. During minus low tides, one can see its walls covered with green anemones, varicolored starfish (I don't think I'll ever say "sea stars") and other fascinating intertidal life. I've enjoyed capturing its many moods from my permanent tripod holes. Mouseover the images for more (initially you might have to hover over the images for a second or two to get things going).
